Seems to be quite a few diffrent oppinions on this, thought i would give mine encase anybody wonders.

The main diff. between the two for me, is adderall seems to calm me down MUCH more than concerta ever did. Actualy, conserta seemed to speed up the mess of thoughts, and often leave me feeling beat down at the end of the day. Adderall is much smoother. But one thing, I never really noticed the concerta leaving me, but I can feel the adderall slacking off at the end of 5-6 hours. But nothing bad. Also the "want" to work is absent as with concerta, I can do it if I make myself, but that easy want-to-study attitue isnt there.

I pay 1/3 more for Adderall XR than Concerta on my health plan, but it's worth it. Headaches when upping my dosage on "fuzzy" days are much less AND no stomach cramps. I swear there is something in the way Concerta's time release works than makes me feel like I ate a bad burrito while running sprints. It's a stabbing cramp that lasts for hours and SLOWLY moves around. Hate that stuff.
