Hopeless

Since being on adderall for 3 months, Ive lost 15 lbs. And I know the drug can suppresses your appetite. But after the first week on the meds, my appetite went back to normal. I have a normal appetite. I am eating chips as I type this! So I'm wondering, does Adderall have an effect on metabolism? That's the only explanation I can think of to explain my weight loss.
Has anyone lost weight on Adderall but still eat the same as before meds?
Hope
Adderall was orginally developed as a weight loss drug in the late 50's.
Many people now who take it for ADD loose weight.
Not in my case - it has not affected my appetite one bit.
Well alot of times, you'r also doing alot more than you did originally, so you may still loose some weight, but as far as I know it doens't effect your actual metabolism, but I could be wrong on that. I just began supp. myself with iron and b-vitamins, that seems to be helping quite a bit in my case.
I get hungry one hour after I take it, but not during the first 2 weeks or so.

My experience has been that even if I think I'm eating normally, I'm actually still eating less than usual.
I find that I usually can eat on Adderall but it's hardly ever a priority. If I'm at home and bored I'll eat okay, but if I'm busy I might forget to eat entirely. I've lost about 20 lbs in 2 months.
