I am not sure how many members we have that are graphically inclined (I know I am not really) but I thought maybe we should start a contest for a new Logo at ADDForums.com . I think the one we currently have up there is pretty generic.
I'd like to hear what you all think about that.
I really don't have much money to spare right now but I woud be willing to donate some web hosting possibly to the winnder.

Included is a picture of this logo/banner that is also at the top left of every page on this site.

By the way, we can use quite a bit more space up there than just the top left.

If you're looking for a graphic artist to help you with this...might I suggest Lafnalot....She's AWESOME :D She might be able to come up with some ideas ;) By the way...that was in no way a suggestion to change the logo. I like it. :)

I have Paint shop Pro too. I'll play around also.

Are there any specific colors to stick to or stay away from?

Bright neon ones I would have to say. Whatever colors are used should blend in to the current site colors/design. Nothing striking away from it..

Ok, we'll start with yours first, Lafnalot. I replaced the top one with your banner. What do you think? How hard do you think it would be to duplicate the background color at least temporarily from the original banner?
It's late, or maybe early, so I am going to crash, but I will leave this up for now.
Tara, would it be hard to chage your background color also? Not sure on the layering in PSP.
I'm thinking if the current background colors don't work, we could always adjust them to fit the banenr..

Adjusting is easy cheesy, this isnt a tough graphic at all. Lemme pop one out.

Lets see if the background managed to stay correct in its transition.

yea hey that was kinda pompous sounding, wasn't it? I meant , in my own unadulterated social moron way, that I didn't want to make a too complicated graphic and take away from the board itself :D

I do this because I love it. Maybe a link button when I get my graphics site back up? At any rate, you guys decide what you want, what you need , etc, give me my parameters and it would be a joy to do anything that would help.

Uh, oh.. I put up the new graphic and I think people are now voting on it. ;) Getting the pole a little confusing. Going to change it back so we can figure it out.
