I'm a sucker for anything that sounds like it might, i repeat, might, have a chance of working. That is some indication of how intent I am on finding improvement. Needless to say, i have tried countless things that work a little, some that work a smidgen, some that work not at all, some that work well for a while, and then stop.....

Mostly, i hope i have avoided outright scams, but i am guilty of falling for the focus factor scam. but...that is not what i write about today, today is different..very different!

My interior decorator - yes, i finally got one - came over and turned down some food i offered and explained that she had been to see a nutritionist, had some kind of testing, avoided the foods she is suppose to avoid, took the supplements, and feels much better. she went on to tell me all the things that improved. i was impressed, and being the daring ADD guy i am, i set an appt with the nutritionist for a week later.

it has been since feb 7th since i went to that appt. the testing was simple. hold an electrode in one hand, she operates a computer which is somehow analyzing everything about my body....and whalla 2 hours later - a magic solution.

the solution - avoid all these foods - the list was a mile long - eat these foods, the list was 12" long - take these supplements - they were all very expensive - and come back in one month!

so i then got the bill, which i almost fainted from, $450.00 incase you are wondering, and i whined a little that it was too much, but i eventually shrugged my shoulders, and left with the minimal payment plan that i could pay half this week and half next week, big deal!!!

then i went home, feeling raped of my wallet, and on the way home, made sure to get my last burger king whopper and fries meal, knowing the next month would be a challenge. i dont eat much fast food anyway, but i wanted to punctuate the beginning and the end of my diet, by eating burger king!

the next day i started her protocol, and it was not easy, but what the heck, she said it was only for one month, that is not so bad, so i stuck to it.

its now been 25 days..i eat well, and i have had a side effect i did not expect or intend. i have lost weight, significant weight. i have lost nearly 16 lbs listening to her advise, in 25 days, and she never ever ever told me i would lose a single pound, and she never referred to this as a diet!

so now, i think she was worth the $450. i have set up a follow up appt and am wondering if she will be surprised at my weight loss. i look better too, feel better, have more energy (which is why i went to her in the first place) and can concentrate better, and think clearer.

She says this technique is standard medicine in Europe for the last 20 yrs but is considered experiemental in the US.

thats my report!
