I blame this on my mom, but I have become increasingly worried today about the side effect of high blood pressure that both of these medications listed. It all started with an innocent comment by my mom to watch my blood pressure since it was the only side effect of the adderall that worried her. (She is a nurse:rolleyes: ).

This made me rethink how I had been feeling for the past few hours. I was started on both meds 3 days ago and have been dealing with more side effects than anything else. Today while cleaning my house I started getting a headache like something was trying to come out the top of my head and my face began to feel hot and flushed. 8 hours later and still feeling the same. I don't know what it may mean but intend to go check my blood pressure tomorrow, it normally runs in the low area of normal.

Anyone else experienced this, I am really becoming concerned.

I am also currently takeing adderall xr along with effexor and high blood pressure meds. My doc is very aware of the things that might happen. He does not want my pressure to go up and ever since I started both the meds with my blood pressure meds it has been in the decent range. I can understand about the headaches also. I have been getting them too and I know it is a form of stress so if you are thinking about it a great deal that might be why you are having so many headaches or if you are just starting on the meds it will happen but should go away in the near future. I would just check with your doc. and let him know what is going on.
