Hello! I am new to this forum, and to ADHD. My son was diagnosed with ADHD about three weeks ago. It explains why he acts the way he does, but now it has opened up a whole new realm of problems, with meds and such. I would like to hear from anyone who can offer advice, or an ear to talk to. Welcome to the Forums Stacey. Ditto to what Andrew said. Lots of members here have children with new diagnoses of ADHD, etc...you can simply find a thread that even remotely speaks to this issue and add to it....or start your own:) You will get support:)

OK cool. I do have a question. Has anyone out there had a 4 year old put on Seroquel for ADHD treatment? How do you get a child with ADHD to cooperate, since all other methods of punishment don't work, until meds start to work? Help!!
