View Full Version : Venlafaxine, Bupropion and methylphenidate

I'm currently on Venlafaxine (Effexor) 75mg for my anxiety which helps it and also helps me stop obsessing about stuff.

I am not medicated for ADHD and I couldn't take it anymore so my doctor has prescribed 150mg bupropion (Wellbutrin) and up to 15mg of methylphenidate (in 3 doses, I'm starting at 5mg)

I've tried the Wellbutrin and Ritalin combo before but without the Venlafaxine.

I'm also on amlodopine and bendrofluomethiazide for hypertension. I did request clonidine as I know it can be used for ADHD but the doc was concerned about the side effects.

SSRIs have generally always been useless for me. The only things that kinda worked were Venlafaxine and bupropion. Amphetamines also work better for me than methylphenidate.

Any observations?

Yeah what's your point? Your saying Effexor is a good antidepressant ? Or you like Wellbutrin? Or you don't like Ritalin?
