Hi everyone,
I'm trying to go off of Zoloft, but I have an intense jaw problem. It feels as if my jaw is locked in place. Could this be a "Zoloft Withrdawal" symptom?

Hello...

Is your jaw locked so it really won't move, or is it not locked but feeling all wrong?

Feeling all wrong, and hurts when I move it

This sounds to me like either a muscle tension problem or a problem with the actual joint of your jaw. (TMJ)

Do you take a stimulant medication, or coffee or other caffeine? They can make muscle tension worse.

Yes I take a stimulant but same dose for years. The only thing that has changed is zoloft

I don't know a thing about Zoloft, but I think it's pretty clear that you should go to a GP with your jaw problem if you still have it after this long.

It's gotten better since I stopped the zoloft entirely... thank goodness. Thanks for the support, dvdnvwls!
