Anybody have experience changing from Adderall to Concerta? Is there a difference that you can describe?

I don't know for sure that I noticed a substantial difference. I generally don't take as much of the medication(s) as I perhaps should to fully control my symptoms, so I don't really notice huge effects from my medication, it's just a little ally on my shoulder, so to speak. A little help in the right direction. That said, Concerta I notice got much stronger in the afternoon. This is consistent with its release profile which is very strong from hours 4-7. With regards to comparing it to amphetamine, I tend to think it was slightly less effective even after adjusting for strength being half that of amphetamine. I seem to think it might have been slightly less motivating. I could be wrong, these things are really hard to know for sure, self-perception is an art-form and one that very few master. I'd rather not form a conclusion than form the wrong conclusion.
