Hi everyone,

My name is Cherity and I will be the new moderator of the Teen section. I thought I'd take a second to introduce myself and share a little about myself in the hopes that you will continue to feel comfortable posting even though an adult has stepped into your ring.

I'm 33 (no old jokes I just had a birthday and have heard them all :p ) and was dx'd ADHD/PTSD/OCD/Depression. I am married to a wonderful man and have three children one of whom is a member of this part of the forums. Koda is 11 ADHD/Depression and possibly bi-polar, Lexi is 9 ADHD/ODD and a one year old who will most likely throw a monkey wrench into our world and be one of the dreaded "normies".

I do have a sense of humor and enjoy joking around as long as its not disrespectful or hurtful to others. Lets face it there's a lot of pain in our real lives let alone adding it to our forum lives. Its my hope that you will all continue to show each other the support I've witnessed so far.

Congratualtion Cherity...I have read your posts. You are so knowledgable...hope to be able to express my thought as clearly as you do...

yes, i think actually an "older person" (by older, im talking in the "mentor" sense of older....) that you could probably bring some good information to us, and also that you have kids who have adhd among other things, is really helpful. the fact that youre positive and understand them and have add yourself, is good for us here.

we really need someone like you (good thing weve got you now!).

Thank you Additives that means a lot to me especially after a day of "what have I gotten myself into" lol. I have been reading a lot of posts, seeing how you all work together and treat each other respect is a far cry from when I was growing up. I think this section of the forum will be a challenge for me but then I generally thrive on challenges and plan on doing my best by you guys.
