Why do I feel like a Horn Dog on Add?? Anyone else feel this way? It can happen just within a minute.

You mean erotically charged yes ? Ritalin even heightens the feeling, use against constipation with coffee but the 'euphoria' is easily addictive and had I had a girlfriend... we would not be an old married couple... We have something in common my dear friend ;)

Yes, men, women, & apparently even kids can turn into horn-dogs on ADHD meds. Kinda embarrassing but cool too. :D

Yeah it can also just be the ADHD itself! :) It's not a bad thing or really a good thing, ether. I mean, when meds work for me they can help me to better control it. Sometimes, though when my meds do take effect. I find I'm on the internet all day looking at mind-numbing(porn).The strange thing is when I've seen psychotherapists for ADHD(all of them ladies). They always tell me If, it's not getting you in any trouble. Why not just go with it? So when I feel I have to,I just Indulge the urges.

Adult ADHD will make you think of anything to increase your brains supply of dopamine. Since food & sex are things that'll do it. It makes a lot of sense why many of us with ADHD want those things a lot more.

Likewise, currently obsessed with the beauty of deviantart... literally endless diversity for every fetish, loose myself hours and hours long, it's almost a hobby

I have noticed a seeming increase in "desire" on the Adderall, but I'm also on Zoloft & I know from past experience that while it doesn't inhibit my libido at all, it does affect my "performance" in activity involving others.

I wish I had the opportunity to experiment, but my anxiety gets in the way of approaching likely participants.

I'm still awaiting my first Dr appointment and trials of medicine, but I've been wondering if less susceptibility to distraction might not be a real asset in getting an orgasm during sex. Something that happens for me, but I'd like it more regularly.

Actually, the Adderall made me focus so much better and get stuff done so I frequently wear myself out. And I have RA on top of it...

Always had strong drive - ADHD thing? I would say it's just as strong, not stronger. Further, my husband and I are happy as a couple most of the time.

My treated ADHD behavior can stilll be annoying in daily life to my husband... And he can be annoying to me... The annoyance factor can play into intimacy in a marriage/relationship. That is where consideration, empathy, and communication are necessary. Can be tricky for the ADHD-enabled......

I am having the exact same issue and it's causing some major issues in my relationship! Going to start meds on the 14th :)

Is this only true for ADHD hyperactive sufferer's? Do Ritalin and/or Adderall have the same sexual effects for us older, ADD non-attentive, 'slow cogition tempo' types w/ co-existing lifelong treatment resistant Major Depression, Anxiety, Anhedonia & Insomnia?

If so...is it equally true for women as well as men?

Thank You, 4ever4

Depression anxiety anhedonia and insomnia all at the same time is a lot of things that can cause difficulty with sex. It's possible for these medications to make some kind of difference, but it may not be enough difference to really matter for you. There would be only one way to find out.

YES! A thousand times YES! I get aggressive and extremely horny on Adderall. I do not recommend taking this drug by itself. I am on 12.5 mg daily of Zoloft (suppresses the crazy aggression/libido) and 5mg Adderall twice daily.

This dose of Zoloft is very low and I still have a sex drive:)

I want to touch and be touched by men I am attracted to (BTW, I am married). I think about sex A LOT and masturbate daily.

I never had an orgasm until I went on Adderall and learned to masturbate. I was shockingly awakened at 46 yrs by a this sexual awakening. I had been on antidepressants for 20 years and it was numbing me sexually. Who knew!

Now I am trying to find balance. I never want to give up the pleasure I have found, but I don't want to dry hump the UPS man either. I have intimacy with my husband and self love to reach the pinnacles of pleasure I have found:D

My Gmail account got disabled because of this. I may consider myself lucky the cops are (hopefully) not looking for me. I can no longer read my mail or answer or see any message from this forum or elsewhere

Hahaha...not sure if you meant that to be funny, but perhaps because I relate so much to it, I found it so.

I'm just picturing myself going up to a guy ... "Excuse me, sir? Would you perhaps be willing to participate in ...um ... uh... er..." *mumbles to self and walks away*

Well, I feel like a horndog on Adderall and the Prozac and Intuniv level it out.

I remember what it was like before and I think medication is probably best...

meds didnt change it. Puberty usually does.
