Just wondering if there's any good movies that do a good job of portraying adult adhd...or if any of you have seen any decent documentaries you can suggest.

I wondered the same thing... There are many characters in movies that we could assume have adhd and just watch those movies. Many actors are ADHD.

As for a documentary I'm not aware of any.
Google turned up some stuff..
This was a light hearted take on ADHD.

This one follows Young men with ADHD and then the director suspects her own ADHD.

Actually his main diagnosis was bipolar 2. There is no mention he had ADHD.

However in the beginning of Limitless he is a dead ringer for ADHD. And that drug he takes just reminds me of my experience on Ritalin.

Do a search for videos by Dr. Russell Barkley.

Avoid videos by Daniel Amen and Gabor Mate.

I see all the ones that I know of are listed here. One more I'd like to add is Are You ADD? a documentary I'm directing. It will be mostly autobiographical about my struggles for 53 years without knowing I had ADHD until recently. I hope to portray a balanced yet heartfelt look at un-diagnosed ADHD and the serious consequences of ignoring the reality of it. We have interviews with Dr. Edward Hollowell, Dr. Daniel Amen, Dr. Russell Barkley and more.
