Thanks, for specifying

Oops! :)

I see I asked "female without AD(H)D" twice.

and forgot, "males without AD(H)D" option.

Males without AD(H)D can choose "other", and specify they are males without AD(H)D, if they prefer.

Hmmm......I've always been a tomboy type, so I'll say both, with adhd. I'm in touch with my masculine side. :)

By intersex, I'm assuming you mean both sexes??

I'm a tomboy myself, definitely both with AD(H)D. I am ADHD.

Sure! That would be appreciated, if anyone has the ability.

I always seem to mess up the polls.

Thanks Abi, Meadd823, Sarek, everyone.

I suppose both and with ADD for me- I'm male in touch with both sides. I'm not much of a specialist. I identify with people who are more balanced. Perhaps instead of saying both sides I should say more in-between, not too far in either direction

What does "identify with" mean exactly, in this case?

What gender are you, and do you have AD(H)D)?

(questions meant to be asked in private, unless of course, members chooses make public)

I'm a female with ADHD (and a bunch of other stuff).

I'm curious to know why you asked this question.

I am curious to know any relationships, between gender and AD(H)D, in general?

Definitely, female with ADD!
I'm generally quite feminine - although I love guy's humor, and I watch a lot of sports.

I went with Female/ADHD because I didn't understand the question.

I don't really understand, either...

I'm female, and gay. But I just feel like "me".

But if it's only physical gender I'm female. And I have adhd.

So that's my answer?

I have some friends that identify as transgender, so I was trying to include people that don't identify with male or female, in the poll.

I looked up "gender" on wiki, and it referred to the word intersex, female and male.

Being honest, words aren't my specialty, and I appreciate any vocabulary recommendations, that would help include everyone.

Despite being lesbian in male body I choose number three. So I'm a gay female hyperactive with inter cause with other gay females with or without labels. The labels make it hot right ? Why would we use them if it's not to identify ourselves ? ;)

"Identify AS" and "identify WITH" are very very different things... I think that's why the question is unclear.

I am a heterosexual male and most of my good friends are female. I identify AS a man, but somehow I identify WITH women. Does that make sense?

Yes that makes sense.

Thanks

To clarify, I identify *AS* male with ADHD.

I identify fairly equally *WITH* all genders with ADHD.

Rebelyell: don't forget the possibility of using "identify" with a noun phrase instead of a prepositional phrase.

I don't think you mean "identify with" (to have an internal understanding of); I think you just mean "identify" (spot one from 100 paces). :)

I identify with all people and with none, hence I answered "other"

Perhaps I should rephrase mine so I don't sound transgendered. I identify as male but not a super masculine male. I identify with others who, like me have somewhat of a balance between the traits stereotypically assigned to both female and male genders.
