Yes. I have quite strong synesthesia. I wonder if it helps him make music?

In the sensory section there should be a few threads on synesthesia.

Hey :)
I am a Synnie and synesthesia can be easiest explained as a criss-crossing of senses....sort of. I taste shapes and words. Numbers have specific colours, ie- 6 is baby blue, will always be and has always been. When someone says "six" my mind sees baby blue. I smell emotions. There are many, many types of synesthesia...all the senses can be involved. If I touch cold steel I taste lemon...always. It is not an illness and is not a hinderance in life...in fact I find that it enhances my life if I really think about it. But it is such an inherent part of me that I rarely think "I am Synesthetic".
Music can definitely be enriched by synesthesia, one would interpret it in a different way than those who are not Synnies.
Being a Synnie on top of Bipolar and Cognitive difficulties from MS can somedays be overwhelming for sure...especially if one has mirror-syn.
I find that all the meds I am on do not dull or affect my syn in any way at all.
...So, that's my experience with Synesthesia...K. West may well be a Synnie too.
