Ever since I started ritalin(3 weeks ago) I only did one workout and I'm used to working out every other day. I don't know, I think I"m kinda paranoid that my heart will blow up or something.:o Do you wait until your meds wear off or what? THanks

Please keep in mind that I am not a doctor (whom you should ask if is okay to resume your normal exercise levels before you actually do), but I would monitor how your heart rate and blood pressure is when you are in resting verses when you do your normal everyday things. If they are normal - it shouldn't be a problem - but I strongly recommend what I told you in the beginning - talk to your doctor before starting any exercise program.

Still - the best thing I can recommend is contact your doctor. Sorry. :( I am not one - so I really can't tell you.

ditzygirl..i have had the same experience...I used to work out 3 to 4 times per week..running...lifting weights..etc...since being no meds...I'm not motivated too...plus..I agree..in the back of my mind I'm worried about heart issues....going to talk to my doctor about this..did you find out anything?
