Has anyone heard of this?

I was recently diagnosed with obstructive sleep apnea (having around 92 episodes an hour ) but after meeting with the doctor to go over my numbers then and now, he realized I wasn't experiencing that "life altering" change that most do when starting treatment for OSA... This led him to believe I have what is called Idiopathic hypersomnolence... pretty much severe excessive daytime sleepiness. (I'd be happy sleeping about 14-16 hours a day- I'd finally feel rested.)

The only treatment is a stimulant medication, which I already take... so I'm a bit screwed.

There is also provigil which my husband has been on for narcolepsy for about 7 years. The good thing is it recently went generic.

I wonder if you could take that in conjunction with Adderall?
