Title alrewady says everything
I used to have major depression during all my teen years I'm 22 now, not suffering of it no more, but I cry from time to time and when I do even if I don't cry hard almost never, I feel tired like I want to sleep for hours, and it takes me 2 days to get back on track. Is it normal? Does it happen to you too?

Hmmm
When I have difficult times and bad events in my life, the kind of things that make me cry, I get tired from the strong emotion and it takes me a long time to feel better - longer than most people. Is that the kind of thing you mean?

I feel exhausted after crying, maybe not for 2 days but for a few hours definitely. I think that's one of the reasons why crying is beneficial. Exhaustion can be numbing and therefore protect you from strong feelings but if you fall asleep after crying it also gives your body and your mind a chance to recover (and to get a bit of distance from what is bothering you).
