View Full Version : Itschaotic ruins my Life!
Ancient Music 04-01-05, 07:43 AM Arrrghh !
Ian (itschaoitic) has ruined my life!! ;)
After his glowing praise about "Flylady" on the forum, my gorgeous lady Viktoria, decided that I should join. Not knowing what I was in for I agreed. (((((shudder))))))))
Yesterday Viktoria asked me how come I hadn't recieved any emails from "Flylady" and I replied that I had joined but there had been no email.
I protested my innocence and this was widely questioned , apparently in "chat" yesterday :o
Today when I signed into messenger I recieved notification of new mail at my Yahoo address. I signed in and found 15 emails from Flylady with a huge list of things I have to do.
It appears I used my Yahoo email address intstead of my regular address and now I'm having to actually "do something".....
And I thought there was some mistake....:o
Thanks Ian!!!. ;)
What is that Andrei the fly lady?:)

And now I have make this "folder" and actually write out a morning routine:confused:
On paper even!!
*Hmmm..... wake up, make tea for my Gorgeous Lady and myself, go back to bed and very slowly drink tea........make more tea, drink second cuppa even more slowly, make toast and coffee..... Whoa!... make toast, eat toast very slowly, make coffee........Hmmmm mabye I can make this stretch out until dinnertime*

Careful, Darling, your green eyes are showing. Just because Ian has it all figured out does not mean you have to get yourself in a twist of envy. You haven't even got to the "garden" yet, have you????  .......Oh, I am SO going to enjoy all that weeding you have to do:D !!!
I bet he wouldn't sign his wife up to FlyLady, either!!!!
SeeAncient, she's missed the entire part where it's all about loving yourself. Give her time, she'll catch on. :D
Ian of the cheap shot.
It's not at all about something you impose on others. It's all about flying. F inally l oving y ourself. I might suggest that she try that shoe on herself. When the swing is moving in "both" directions it keeps kids entertaining for years after childhood. :P
Now you folks all play nicely here in the sandbox while I go and through a load of laundry in and get those dishes done. I think Pirerrette is out painting the girls room. Team work is sweet! :D
Jupiter was spectacular last night! Lots of shooting stars but none close enough to wound. ehhe
Finally loving myself. Ian.
PS. The digest version is much more manageable.
Okay both of you to your corners!!!!!!
Nucking_Futs 04-01-05, 02:21 PM ok sorry I'm not laughing at either of you, nope not I said the giggle girl in the back. I would never do that to the two of you.
minn306 04-01-05, 02:27 PM okay, I was over whelmed with the emails the first time.......so I un subscribed. BUT this morning I subscribed again, because my house needs desperate HELP. The kind & wonderful Flylady.com website sent me several emails with things to do today. I have successfully did the 27 trash pick up. Can I be done now??!!!
Just get the digest and it'll come only once a day as a bundle. The routines are the same every day. I don't do them all but I do love the morning routine, and the structure is so appropriate for me!
I got together with the local flylady crew in Winnipeg on Wednesday night for a mini flyfest. There is a big one in May in the States but we'll have another one here around that time.
http://ca.geocities.com/weejuans/images/flylady/
Here are some of the images. I made a crab quiche and a loaf of bread. Two others made a couple of side dishes and then others showed up for desert. A number of them brought their control journals and that was insightful. We had a good many laughs!
Cheers! Ian.
Nucking_Futs 04-01-05, 05:53 PM I think I'll pass I'm OCD enough without subtle hints on how to perfect my disorder lmbo

okay call me dense...........what is digest??
Coral Rhedd 04-01-05, 05:59 PM I have been domestically impaired for years. I live alone and like it.
I find this entire thread absolutely horrifying. ;)
Coral & Futs, I hear you. :)
minn306, there is a setting in your options there that allows you to get the emails grouped in one lumped mailing or have them sent individually. I prefer the "digest" version that lumps all the days emails into one so I only get one message from them a day that contains all the days messages.
minn306 04-01-05, 07:08 PM okay thanks Ian. I did as you suggested
FocusPokus 04-01-05, 08:50 PM Wait!
As a newbie I am REALLY scared!
My whole personal fashion is based on how long I leave the clothes in the dryer.
(someone mentioned ironing shirts........ Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!)
Wrinkles are my social statement, what shall I do without my social statement?
All the chicks that are currently attracted to my klutziness will scatter.
I fear this email mentoring.....

crime_scene 04-01-05, 09:47 PM wrinkly shirts...mmmmmmmm....cuuuuuuuuuute
(of course you could always get those shirts that are no iron...Is that cheating?)
Way too funny! What a howl I had reading this! Don't sweat it guy; any shirt is a good shirt if it doesn't stink! heeheh I don't own a tie (my wife may have one hidden for me I don't know) and ironing is for making things straight. I don't think there is a single straight line in my life, save for my wife. :D Improvisation is my middle name. It is impossible for me to follow the rules to the letter. Man I can't even do it as an Admin! hehe Fortunately the owner and Andrew (other Admin) wanted to support other strengths.
That's what it's all about. Focus on the art form of the wrinkle and all will be well with the world. Maybe you should offer up a workshop here on the finer points. :D
I once took a class on creative hitch hiking. It was a whole bunch of fun. It got me to college in 1979 3000km from home.
Glad to have you aboard.
RaveOn.
FocusPokus 04-03-05, 10:00 AM CS,
But I don' wanna' be wrink-less!
Whaaaaaa….. {*has tantrum*}

"Dating for the Depressed"

I did? You sure about that?

She tried that shoe on her foot when she was 15 years old. She didn't need FlyLady.com :D Ask Andrei about my organizational skills:cool: !
Now you folks all play nicely here in the sandbox while I go and through a load of laundry in and get those dishes done. I think Pirerrette is out painting the girls room. Team work is sweet! :D

FocusPokus 04-04-05, 07:44 AM Viktoria,
You got me, I am afraid of the ironing. I only use irons for science projects (less pressure.... er.... I mean... you get the idea).
I DID transfer the load! I did! I did!
Mind you I only do laundry at night when my multiple trips downstairs will take me past the open and lit door to the laundry area reminding me that I am also 'in the middle of' that project too. Otherwise the morning lady who relieves me at 10:AM will {GASP!} Fold My Clothes!!!! I just can't live with that.
One of my favorite women wears unmatching socks every day of her life. It drives me wild with lust. Is it so wrong to hope that there is someone to appreciate my wrinkles? (dear, dear, dear... I hope not...)
Thank you for the welcome, it has indeed been a warm one :)
