What is the starangest dream/s you have ever had, even if they don't make sense in the normal everyday world.

Here is my dream that I still remember from when I was 6.

I was at some Cafe like place with my mum and my brother next to a busy street. There were lights of white and red lining all down the street. Cars were going down the street at all different speeds. Some really slow and some really fast but none seemed to crash as far as I can remember.

Any way while we were sitting there I saw in the distance a big old fashioned 70's maroon car driving to the slight hill at a reasonably slow speed. In this car for some strange reason there was a witch I don't know how I knew I just knew and so did my mum.

So we jumped in a car that didn't look like ours and started driving away at high speed the big scary car followed us all the way to the intersection where we had a crash.

***********************Blury here to the next point**********************

So I am suddenly in this building with sand stone walls with plants growing in the cracks. The windows are to high for me to reach so I deicide to go look for my mum.

I started trying to run but I couldn't run at any good speed at all it was like the world was glue, but I found walking to be much faster so I started woundering the long hallways, when out of no where a solider stoped me and said, "No thongs ( for the USA Sandles) allowed, then he picked me up and carried me to a row of people.....

***********************Blury here to the next point**********************

I was back on the street again all alone with the evil witch now getting her broom through the wind shield without braking it ( remember I was only 6 laws a physics does not apply).

I started to run again throw the glue, my legs hurt alot and the witch was catching up...

Then I woke up on the floor smashing my shins against my bed side table.

Kay and I can often control our dreams, and we share the same dream occasionally. As in, the exact same dream, at the same time. It happens a few times a year.

I'll be dreaming about something specific, a complex scene also involving Kay, and I'll spontaneously wake up to find her waking up, too. It's usually the middle of the night (our night, maybe 4 or 5 or 6 AM), and we look at each other and know it's happened again.

One or the other says something, and then we take turns spitting out details until we get sleepy again. The first time this happened, we were awake for hours, speculating on the mechanisms that might allow such a thing to occur.

Now, it just makes us feel comfortable. It's more common when we're really working hard trying to figure something out, but it doesn't have to be anything traumatic, necessarily. Just something interesting is enough.

I couldn't begin to tell you any details, though. We typically only remember them for a few days. The thing about controlling our dreams is a big reason, I think, because we both recognize the 'weirdness factor' of dreams as something related to warped logical models.

In effect we can compensate for the warp on the fly, while we're dreaming. So the strangeness doesn't seem strange, just skewed, and it isn't remarkable enough to remember.

Is that strange enough? It isn't a dream, exactly, but it seemed relevant…

I always have bizzare dreams. I would say at least once a week I have some off the wall dream. Quite often they are pretty gruesome too. I enjoy dreaming. It is like a whole different life/reality. I look forward to goign to sleep at night to see what interesting things my mind can creat!:)

I've had wild dreams my whole life-

In fact, one of my earliest memories, from around the age of five, (which is mega significant to me, because many of my early memories are inaccessible) is the recurring dinosaur dream I used to have...as seen below:

I have managed to scurry into a shallow hole in the ground, just before a "flock" of apatasauruses (s.p.) stomp past me.:eyebrow: Phew.

Last night's version (and I almost always have dreams I can remember at least part of) is seen below:

A light fixture above me shatters, sending shards into my bed. I am too lazy or tired to get up, so in my dream, I attempt to rid myself of the mess by shaking the sheets, blankets and pillows from a prone position.

I don't generally remeber my dreams---

the other night tho I had one where I was at work & my friend/salon owner asked me to wash his clients hair (short, black hair) I did & when I put water on it it turned blonde. Then I took her back to the chair & had to put on this color (to turn it black again), but it wasn't like any haircolor I had ever used before:confused: . When I started to do this, the other salon owner came over & started to freak out:eek: b/c she said her hair was going to break off & what not.... any way i started yelling at her , she yelled at me (which could happen;) )....then I woke up....When I went to work that day I told my friend about it ---he said that he wouldn't have me wash any of his clients that day.:)

Depends on whether or not the big guy next to me is snoring or not.

Generally, my dreams reflect who I am...happy, go lucky but there are instances were I have nightmares of past experiances as a child or that I dream someone very close to me gets hurt with those dreams I wake up quickly call my sister and if she too had the same dream we have learned in the past to call the person in said dream and warn them and they have learned to heed our warnings.

Last week my community suffered a devastating loss and its been an emotional hell for all of us. So, my dreams for the last two weeks have been really off.

The first one I remember I was running thru a mall with a bear close on my heels, nobody would help me and I could feel the bear getting closer and closer and you could almost feel your heels tingling were he snipped at them...I woke up in a rush and found my husband snoring loudly in my ear...awww that was all the explanation I needed.

The second one I was having trouble sleeping so I turned the tv on and was too tired to change channels...I incorporated Return of the Living Dead into my dream talk about freaky...but I tend to find humor were no one else does so it was a freakishly comedic nightmare. It went something like this

I'm working the graveyard at the nursing home and I go to take the trash outside and notice the light is burned out again and see a man standing in the darkness, how I know he's dead I don't know but I know and I try and slam the door and lock it but the lock won't hold and the next thing I know my co-worker Diane gets bit by this guy and she is slowly turning into one of the walking dead right before our eyes. and this guy is telling us that we have to kill their brains or they will bite us and we'll die too...so I'm freaking and nobody has a gun of course so my charge nurse Ann finds a fire axe and says I can't do it...well I don't want to get bit their look all freaky and gross I can do it...so Diane says hit me on the top of my head and she starts singing "You aint seen nothing yet" while I'm slamming this axe into the top of her head only her head is too hard and it won't go thru and this dead guy is yelling harder, harder and Diane says just cut my head off and lays her head back to give me better access while still singing "you aint seen nothing yet" so I'm trying to cut her head off but only making paper cuts along her neck...I jumped awake and Return of the living dead was playing on the tv and the radio I left on in the kitchen was playing you guessed it "you aint seen nothing yet"....what's funny is I worked that night with both Diane and Ann but didnt' think nothing of it until I went to take the trash out and the light was burned out...the lock worked and I took all the trash out in the morning lmbo.
