well, i don't know if this is the best forum website to post about exercise but who knows, my question is how does ADHD medication affect weight lifting? do the hormones in the medications slow down muscle regeneration, since your blood is altered, can it lead to complications? ive read that it can increase your strength, some say you dont feel as much pain, but some say the complete opposite. does anyone know much about this topic and or have experienced any difference while lifting and medicating? also, since some ADHD medications affect sleep and appetite, it definitely has a huge impact on photosynthesis and other bodily regeneration.
post some inputs and experiences.

There are no hormones in stimulants and they cannot affect your muscle strength.

Perhaps concentration on technique helps? We all remember when we were in High School and had no idea how to bench. As soon as you learned you could bench 50% more.

I find that with focus I am able to overcome a lot more, so this translates into my lifting as well.
