Hey everyone, wasnt sure if this is the right place to post this..
- Im aware everyone has a different form of ADHD but im a bit curious to know what everyone feels without medication.
- so i guess ill start with myself.
Im not so much hyper but i have a lot of mental hyperactivity, however im always moving and can rarely sit still (tapping feet, walking around, etc)
I have 1,000,000 thoughts in my head running around at the same time 24/7.
I have extreme forgetfulness and can barely focus on things.
Reading or paying attention is a challenge becuase my mind wanders off.
Affects me at work and makes me look like an idiot because i always forget what to do or makes me daze off when talking to people.
Trouble sleeping ^ mental hyperactivity..

But in a nutshell thats my ADD and when im on the proper meds all those symptoms are 100% gone for awhile.

But again im curious, whats your version or symptoms?

What you go through is pretty standard.

I think the best thing to know is to be aware of what's occurring and how this relates to you.
Then find ways to make it work for you.

Welcome!! This is a great place filled with safe people who are so supportive!

I deal with procrastination, forget things like my keys/travel mug and disorganization, among other of the usual issues.

Even on meds, I wouldn't say I'm 100%- ever- so you are very lucky!!!
