Hey there-

I was not at any warped tour shows this year (for a change). Over the past 5 years, I've probably been to over 100 of them, mostly workin a booth in the 10000 degree heat, etc.

Hope you all enjoyed yourselves. These days with all those stages and tons of people, I can't think straight at all, let alone even hear a band playing.

I wish it would get just a little smaller, as there's way too many people there, and crown mentality is disturbing.

This is new to our area, it's a fairly small place in a small town not to far from us. My daughter and I may check it out...

Seems that a lot of the younger kids love that band! Anyway, if your daughter is activally involved in the punk scene and is interested in writing, doing album reviews, or whatever, let me know as we have a great staff of kids working on punkmusic.com, all of which are lik 15-19 or so. Me, I'm 30 and married w/a mini punk rock 7 year old, but I just can't seem to get away from the music. I also run a record label out of connecticut. (site is under construction) www.fastmusic.com

I'll say something to her, thanks.

She's just started this year getting into punk and Alter. music. She very much and individual with a mind of her own. Doesn't like to follow the crowd so to speak. Great in school she's in the school band. She as gift for writing, her poems and stories blow me away.

I'm married with 2 girls 8 and 13 1/2. My 8 your old I'd call a mini punker also...lol...

My husband was for many years the "sound guy" for many local Boston bands and the house sound guy for a few clubs also....I'm sure this is where my teen gets her talent for music.... I have none...lol.. The child has been listen to metal, punk and Alternative before she was even born...lol....
