I just want to cry. It's so overwhelming having all these thoughts at once. i feel so weak :(

Then have yourself a good cry, and wash your face with a nice cold washcloth.
That's what I usually do. Maybe add an aspirin.:)

This happens to me so often though. Like at least several times a week

Do you have an outlet for your emotions? Something you can feed them into and feel some release?

There's probably nothing I can say to help sometime you have to let the anxiety run it's course through you. The number one thing I found with my OCD is that as soon as I try to stop an intrusive thought it makes it 1,000 times worse

thanks I.m ok! it was shortlived...i shouldńt try to wash some dishes and make chicken nuggets simultaneously (as if that was some amazing feat!)

really that outlet is mostly my girlfriend which isn't very good. She's the one I usually cry to. she understands my OCD but at the same time it sometimes frustrates her.

You both can be understanding of each other's capabilities and limitations.

Sometimes certain medications can hyper-sensitize emotions.

I can't function at all with this "is my girlfriend gonna get her period anxiety". I just can't and I feel like shutting down. :((

Then it may be time to ride a different bicycle.
