Here are four names often sited by the Antipsychs and links to Scientlogy

1) Gary Null
http://www.freedommag.org/english/vol2704/rights.htm
Here Gary accepts an award from Citizens Commission on Human Rights which was founded by Scientology and none other then Dr. Szasz. The organization is still openly connected to scientology as can easily seen because the link on Null is from the online Freedom publication of Scientology.

2) Dr. Szasz
Link B - is a link that shows that Szasz helped direct CCHR. Below is a short excerpt. - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anti-psychiatry

"One organization often confused with the anti-Psychiatry movement is the Citizens Commission on Human Rights (CCHR), founded in 1969 by the Church of Scientology and Dr. Thomas Szasz . CCHR has used the considerable financial resources of Scientology to wage media campaigns against various psychiatrists, psychiatric organizations, and pharmaceutical companies (especially Eli Lilly ). Dr. Breggin and other prominent figures and organizations in the anti-psychiatry movement have emphatically denounced efforts to associate them with Scientology, from which they are completely independent and, often as not, vehemently opposed. The prominence of Dr. Szasz - a cofounder of the CCHR - within the anti-psychiatry movement adds to this confusion".

3) Dr. Breggin
Link C - Connects Breggin to the CCHR. His wife also used to belong ot Scientology.

The most interesting tidbit from the link is that he gathered information from The Prozac Survivors Support Group, which was staffed and run by Scientology, for a book titled; "Talking back to Prozac".

4) Dr. Baughman
Scientology funds OR RUNS several Educational groups, Applied Scholastics, ABLE, International Association of Effective Education, and Applied Scholastics. Baughman has written several articles in support of Applied Scholastics and ABLE.

Scientology, as an organization, is hilarious. L. Ron Hubbard, as an individual, is great. His outlook on psychology is one of the funniest things I've ever seen, and his organization, deliberately created based on science fiction and as a ploy to see how much money he could get people to give him as part of a religion, is dangerous, but still funny.

Beware of the clams!

IMHO-Dr. Baughmen is a dangerous man. I can not believe he is that irresponsible. As far as I am concerned, Scientolgy is an oragnized religious cult that should be "freed" from the space they occcupy on this planet. Conspiracy theories scare me. It only takes one well placed, and well spoken "quack" to start a movement and spew their lies and general garbage that hurt many ppl along the way!

Just my two cents.....

I have huge issues with these kinds of ppl. Kind of like that popcorn kernal(hull) you get stuck in your teeth at the beginning of the movie.
