I value critism as much as complements, at least when I discussing something other than my feelsings...

I found that there were no answers, but simply recapitulations of the problem. I'm wondering, did anyone else feel that way?

It wasn't that the book did not have value. It explored a lot of ground. I just felt the title and the format promised answers that I didn't see present. (The old "Emperors New Cloathes" Kind of thing for me.)

Respectfully (I still like Ratey!)

I agree completely. When I read it, I thought this is just Driven to Distraction under a new title and format. It was a disappointing book to me. That's why I give it a thumbs down.
