What is the difference between RAGE or FEAR primary emotional response systems, and, fight or flight distress response systems?

I think they are both about the same. I think the viewpoint decision determines the difference. Same adrenalin jolt just aimed in a different direction.

This is soley my opinion based off experiencing this so many times.

Rage is Rawr and fear is Neeeowwww. When i was a teen in the hood, other boys would step up to me and try to intimidate and scare me with words like "you scared *****" and i remember every moment before i threw a punch i thought to myself, yes im scared and now im angry= (rage).

Rage is blinding. Fear is no holds barred.

This is most fascinating.

I really don't know yet.

Are all primary emotional response systems different types of emotional stress response systems.

Examples

Is PANIC/GRIEF type of stress?

Is SEEKING type of stress?

I'm just learning, please room for error.

The SEEKING system, the RAGE system and the FEAR system are all involved in "fight, freeze or flight".

They are 3 different response systems with different chemistries.

Which of these 3 systems chemistries would be classified as the "stress response system"?

Or are they different types of positive and negative feeling stress responses?

Is the PLAY system a positive feeling stress response system?

What makes stress, stress?

I usually associate distress with cortisol, but cortisol is also required for life, are all types stress necessarily associated with cortisol?
