This thread is for posting any funny or strange legitimate business names or slogans you have seen or know of.

Here are a few I saw recently and had to laugh.
1. Camel Towing [Tow truck co.]

2. Another tow truck I saw and had a great slogan. "We don't charge an arm or leg we just want your tows."

3. Shutter up [Shutter co.]

4. You won't take us for Granite [Granite co.]

We have a store around here that has the sign "Wigs, hair pieces, breast prostheses" I always wonder whether the rhyme was intentional.

Kopf instruments makes stereotaxic apparatus that keeps the head still for brain surgery. Kopf is German for head.

I will say this delicately. There was this diner and it had a red sign called "The Town and country diner. Well the owner always let things go. The letters began to run out until the word town was out and the only letters left of country were the c and the unt. I am really trying here to be carefull....

There was a monstrous windstorm that wreaked a lot of havoc on things and KFC's sign read as ucky chicken for quite some time.

Saw this one a couple of months ago, strange combination:
drain cleaning, carpet cleaning and pest control.

Happy Hooker Towing Service

Also named for the Hooker family.

Badcock and More is a furniture store I saw often in Florida....

Once some of the letters went out on the sign, let's just say the word "bad" was burnt out.

Real sign, unintentional misspelling from someone whose English wasn't perfect:

June's Hair Saloon

(It was just a misspelling, I'm sure - no rye comments please.) ;)

Needles to say, not a good name for a doctor.

This isn't a business name, but a funny "that sounds different in English":

From 1974 till 2003, the Roman Catholic Archbishop of Manila (and therefore the leader of that church throughout the Philippines) was Cardinal Sin. (He himself joked about how it sounded.)

I have to say, before this next one, that I am definitely not joking or making this up. It was a real business whose sign I once drove past regularly, though I'm not sure if it's there anymore.

Holy Beauty Salon

...there was a diner in the Sonoma Valley called "Mother Flugger's Old Same Place"..which I thought was clever till I met the guy who owned and ran it ...

....he told me that an ape with a camera could take as good a photograph as anyone ...and as a young and passionate photographer, studying in that field, I took great offense at that statement ....and riding away upon my high horse i never darkened their door again ......

..actually their food was bad too ...they could take nice wholesome ingredients and ruin them quicker than anyone except for a girl I knew named Kathy .....she couldn't make a grilled cheese that anyone could stomach eating ....

..oh I was being a professional cook while I was studying photography ....so I had an attitude about that too ....

...sometimes I think I may have been a pain in the neck when I was young and full of myself ....

...( the problem with getting many years piled on you is that a topic will come up ....and that topic will unleash a flood of relevant and not so relevant issues that slip out of me ....sorry ...

Cant remember if I shared this but there was a diner in my home town called the country diner. For the longest time it was missing the o,r and y from the sign. You can imagine how my immature mind loved that.
