Here in Norway 10 mg IR day cost about 128.71 Usd monthly, and if i heard right today on Spansules they cost about 1544.56 Usd for one packet (month). The lady at the pharmacy flipped out when she saw the price.

Thank god we get the meds covered over here!

Will try IR in the coming days instead of Vyvanse, anyone here that can share theire experience on them when it comes to how long do they last, and how is the comedown?

And also for those of you that has depression?

Before I hit my insurance deductible ($3,000/year) 90 10mg tablets (1 month supply) costs me about $165. After I've met my deductible, about $10 for the same supply.

my insurance would cover dexedrine and if got the Zenzedi brand (for the 15, 20, 30 mg doses), my copay was $25 for 90 of the 30 mg ones/month but they didn't cover those for long so for the 180-270 10 mg tablets, I paid $5. I am waiting for the dexedrine patch to come out so I can go back to that. I switched to Ritalin and Daytrana because I like the patch and it's effects the best, especially in the PM hours. I didn't want to take all those pills.

Are you referring to "spansules" or "Vyvanse"? They are quite different.

If you get it prescribed on the NHS in the UK you only pay the prescription charge of 8.something per prescription, ie for a month's supply. Privately, about 150*5mg dex IR is a bit more than a 100.

Yeah, on the NHS in England you have to pay 8 per medication prescribed. People in Scotland, however don't pay for their prescriptions.

Anyway, if I remember correctly, a private prescription for Auden Mckenzie Dexamphetamine IR, (the only brand of IR available here - which apparently is rubbish) cost just under 30 for one box of 28 5mg tabs.

Just for the sake of mentioning it, one month of Concerta (36mg) was just under 80.

I take 30-40mg of dex daily; luckily I don't pay for my prescriptions as my GP agreed to repeat the prescriptions for me, and I'm still 18 and in full time education :D. Although, by next year I'll have to pay for them.. Being prescribed 3 meds a month = just under 300 a year. lol.

I was paying $60 for 90 10mg of zenzedi, it was $130 for 90 10mg barr. This was at CVS.

I preferred the barr, so much so I switched to adderall.

Also for people with insurance without deductibles it would be more useful if you posted the entire drug price, not just your copay!

Barr 10 mg tablets, quantity 60 is about $69 without insurance at Costco pharmacy. I was on the 5 mg, but it is apparently in shortage now.

Their prices are almost always the best I've found, but they often have to order the meds, so it can get tricky if you're on a tight refill schedule and don't get your Rx submitted in time.

60 X 10mg spansules cost $69 Canadian dollars. This lasts me a little over two months since I don't take it every single day...

#120 15mg spanules cost me over $500 at the Walgreens. The Walgreens card didn't do anything to the price but I had to buy a new one. Maybe it doesn't work right away. It used to bring the price down to the $300's.

I'm not renewing my health insurance until January. Oh well. With my luck the Malinkroft would come in a week later and cost $700.

Zenzedi 20 or 30mg would break the "quantity limit" barrier of the health insurance companies (once they told me it was the DEA). Looks expensive.

180 count 10mg Dex IR = $120 with GoodRx coupon code at Walgreens.

Without the coupon code, the price is $500-something.

Ian

Holy cow! Is that a month? I can't believe a doc prescribes you 60mg a day. IR, no less. Do you take it 30/30? Or divide it equally throughout the day?
