1. Johnny’s mother had three children. The first child was named April. The second child was named May. What was the third child’s name?

Whatever she called it. EDIT: Need to pay more attention. Still actually correct.

2. A clerk at a butcher shop stands five feet ten inches tall and wears size 13 sneakers. What does he weigh?

Meat.

3. Before Mt. Everest was discovered, what was the highest mountain in the world?

Everest. EDIT: Depends on the period, though. Different mountains when the dinosaurs were around.

4. How much dirt is there in a hole that measures two feet by three feet by four feet?

Could still be dirt on the edges. Depends on the hole. EDIT: Like if it's a hole cut in a desk which was then dumped somewhere seven years ago and now has a finger thick layer of dirt on it.

5. What word in the English language is always spelled incorrectly?

Get out with this bulls***t. None. EDIT: Because spelling is a convention. My answer is still correct, even if it isn't the one advertised.

6. Billie was born on December 28th, yet her birthday always falls in the summer. How is this possible?

She's a being from the fourth dimension: Australia.

7. In British Columbia you cannot take a picture of a man with a wooden leg. Why not?

Wooden legs aren't cameras. EDIT: Unless you have a camera embedded in a wooden leg.

8. If you were running a race and you passed the person in 2nd place, what place would you be in now?

Second.

9. Which is correct to say, “The yolk of the egg is white” or “The yolk of the egg are white?”

Your egg might have gone bad.

10. A farmer has five haystacks in one field and four haystacks in another. How many haystacks would he have if he combined them all in one field?

One.

Lunacie
06-20-15, 09:56 AM
Aw crap, I see it now. You'd be in 2nd place now because you overtook the
person who was in 2nd place. You'd have to overtake the person in 1st place
to be in 1st place.

I'm sure we did an IQ test in high school, just informally. Hard to remember
that far back, but when I took an online test and got 135 it sounded very
familiar to me. So, somewhere in that range I guess.

Of course, the trick is being able to use that intelligence wisely. :umm1:

And of course, if this had been a math test instead of a logic test I'd have failed.

Everyone at the party who drunk the punch subsequently died of poisoning.
Why did the man not die?

Question:

Everyone at the party who drunk the punch subsequently died of poisoning.
Why did the man not die?

Because it was poisoned after he left the party?

Because he didn't drink ALL the punch?
