I managed this in under 5 minutes without pen and paper, tho pen and paper would help

David is annoyed with his gf, Bella. BELLA thought it would be funny to hide David's wallet. She told David that he would get it back if he finds it. So, first off, Bella laid five colored keys in a row. One of them is a key to a room where Bella is hiding David's wallet. Using the clues, can you determine the order of the keys and which is the right key?

Red: This key is somewhere to the left of the key to the door.
Blue: This key is not at one of the ends.
Green: This key is three spaces away from the key to the door (2 between).
Yellow: This key is next to the key to the door.
Orange: This key is in the middle.

Assuming he knows what room his wallet is hidden in, why doesn't he try all the keys on the lock?

Oops, just realised I'm two pages too late...

Abi, how on earth can you keep this stuff in your head to work it out? I find it confusing enough using my mobile and working it out within this post rather than using pen and paper. Once I write down every tiny little detail it's fairly easy but it's impossible to do it in my head. I just can't remember the required intermediate steps. Im struggling with this in all puzzles and it's annoying the hell out of me. I guess that is what is this obscure thing called working memory.

I guess I don't have ADHD?

Bipolar brain is different?

But then Fortune has ADHD and she can do some amazing things in her head.

I dunno.

It really trips me up in interviews. I love doing puzzles but I dread them in interviews. I used to think it's just nerves but maybe that s not all.

Sorry, end of tangent .. Let the games continue..

I was always the worst at solving word problems. Medication seems like it has helped.

Thanks Abi, for the opportunity to discover another benefit of my treatment. I just wish, I could have been diagnosed much earlier in life when I really struggled with school and emotional control.
