I was able to get my p-doc to prescribe me Namenda, but it's very expensive. About $350 a month (for 20mg/day). And I was even thinking 40mg/day would be more appropriate for my particular case, which I imagine would approach $700.

Anyway, I know a few of you out there take or have taken Namenda/Memantine. Were you able to get it covered by your insurance? If so, how? What was the diagnosis used? My p-doc called me and said he was only aware of it being used for dementia normally, which wouldn't be a good diagnosis for me.
