Hi!

I usually live over on the adult forum, but a friend's son was just diagnosed, and they're experiencing information overload. I'm going to steer them here for support and resources, but in the meantime, could you recommend a good (short) video or two that does a good job of introducing AD(H)D and what my friend would find helpful to know as a parent?

They aren't short but I love Barkley's talks on ADHD.

It's not a video but I think the fact sheet on Barkley's site gives a good introduction:

Again, it's not a video, but I still think, this transcript of a talk by Barkley is the best introduction that I've read. It's not super short either but it's extremely readable and interesting:
