Does anyone know if in Massachusetts they can tell me no to recording my sons IEP meeting. I ent out a note saying I wanted to record my sons annual IEP meeting and the contact person said that no I can not tape the meetings that she will come to the meeting and take notes for me...

Massachusetts law does not prohibit taping school meetings, however, if any
person at the meeting refuses then you can't do it. It can make some people
uncomfortable and inhibit discussion.

Someone at the meeting will take notes and print out a copy for you to sign
or initial, and you keep a copy for your records. You can also take your own
notes.

Does your child have more than ADHD, like an LD as well? Just curious.

Yes he has Dyslexia the Dr wants Me to try the drug Vyvanse I'm not keen on medication
