I am a 36 year old male who was recently diagnosed with ADD.
I started Concerta 36 last Wednesday. It was like a miracle drug.
I had tried Adderall XR for about a month, but it took over a week before I felt any results, then after a week or so it faded out only to leave me with the side effects and no ADD relief.
My second day (Thursday) I noticed symptoms kin to coming down with a head cold (sinusitis, upper respiratory) while at work. By the time I got home from work and settled in, I decided to take my temp, which was at 102.4.
I woke up Friday with the same fever not to mention an INCREDIBLE headache, didn't go in to work. The fever faded by noon.
I have been somewhat prone to sinusitis and bronchitis this year, so I'm not really sure if I'm feeling medicinal side effects or if I've actually caught a bug.
I have severe bouts of coughing sporadically and my throat is sore.
-------"Just in case these are side effects"-------
Has anyone else had these symptoms and do they go away?
The relief that Concerta gives me regarding my ADD is perfect, and I'd hate to abandon it so soon if this will just pass.
Thanks for any insight....
