So I have a few questions because I've always been searching for some type of answer to my mood problems. At first I thought it was depression but now I'm thinking it's more too that.. Cause when I'm at work I always forget tasks I'm supposed to do and things people tell me and sometimes I'll be talking to someone and just zone out. I'm always bored no matter what. Like if I go bowling the thought of it might excite me but when I'm actually doing it I'm bored of it. It's so hard to excite me.. When I took a loratab that was prescribed to me for pain it made me feel euphoric and appreciate things more and I felt so happy. So at first it was just for pain but now I actually feel as though I like the feeling it gives me. I'm not addicted to it but I definitely want that feeling. That's why I feel as though if that works so good there has to be something that can help so I'm hopping when I go in for my appointment and if I do get diagnosed that the adderall will help me with all this.. I took the test that was online and it told me I most likely have it. What are some expectations for when I go in to the doctor..? I know this is a lot lol so you don't have to answe everything. Also I fee as though I'm always mad. Like I just wake up that way.

You cant compare opiates to how amphetamines will work. They are very different. Most people will get the feelings of wellbeing and euphoria as a side effect of pain medication. Thats why pain medicine works so well.

Again, adderall making you feel good isnt the same as adderall working for you.

There are no tests for adhd. The online tests especially are so general and so common on the net that a good doctor would never (i hope) use them as a way to screen for adhd. Adhd is diagnosed by a specialist which considers personal history, grades, input from teachers or loved ones etc.
