Takes me forever to get started on any type of work, on Adderall now, but once I get started, Adderall helps me stay on task, but when I used to take Rittalin, it really helped me get started, I was working before even thinking about what I do, I think as I'm doing it.
It would be great to take Ritalin & Adderall together.
Also would be great to have some Xanax on hand too.
Even Greater if I don't pay for any of it, ok that's going too far.

Hi!
I have been wondering about this for a long time... so I'm glad there is someone here to talk to, if you're still around..?
I was on Dexedrine, and found that it made it really easy to start tasks but staying on task was hard. Then I tried Ritalin, and focusing has been good, but starting stuff and time awareness is hopeless. I'm late for everything... or it's REALLY REALLY hard to be on time. Dexedrine made it so incredibly easy to be punctual!!
So I got some dex to try with some ritalin (reduce ritalin to compensate for dex is the plan). it's been great that the Dr has been supportive of me fiddling with my meds, I guess it's b/c I'm in college, was on a higher dose of ritalin for several years and have been responsible about it. Probably helps that I have a psych degree under my belt and that I've been really working hard to be 'responsible" about being ADHD... but enough bragging.
I'll let you know. interesting that you found ritalin to help with starting things.
there is another thread down the line that I was looking for that is a great discussion about this type of thing (executive function). I'm going to find it and reply to bump it up higher.
