For anyone who has never enjoyed real New York Jewish Deli, I'll bring back some pictures! Katz's is really better but it's too far away especially at this time during the weekday. That's like a weekend thing.

I stayed with an uncle in Philadelphia for a few months years back...hated the city (we lived in a very scary rundown area)...but my goodness was the food good. Cheesesteak sandwiches are every much so as good as everyone always makes them out to be (I could NOT believe how freaking good it was the first time I had one)...and the cheap pizza. OMG! lol it was super greasy (I'd never had a pizza so greasy that the grease would run down your arms before! haha)...but the slices were big, and it it was delicious!

/sigh...I miss philly's food :(

Actually there's already a "What are you eating now" thread so I should post there.

Laserbeak, come home. Unless it is a 24 hour deli and has a really good jukebox, it is time to come home.

This place is very touristy and Katz's is much better, but it's all the way down on the Lower East Side.

That’s just wrong.

Especially because I’m sitting here drooling, yet so far away. :p

Just thinking about a corned beef and pastrami on rye is enough to make my mouth water, seriously.

And then with a beer? Oooh...

Wishing,
Ian
