I'm going to the US next month, and the visa have been approved. However, I wonder how can I bring in the Ritalin. I checkek in http://www.cbp.gov and got on concrete answer on that. Of course I need the Rx for any Rx medicine, but are there additional procedure for a CII substance...?
Sorry if that have been mentioned before.

I dunno...I go to the US all the time (I'm American, live in Japan) and never get stopped or asked--coming or going. Never been stopped by Japanese Immigration/quarantine either. I think if you carry your pills (not a huge amount, but an amount clearly for one person, not for dealing (g)) in the prescription bottle, you should be fine...
Please don't take this as gospel, of course; it's just one person's experience.

If you can prove that it was prescribed by a doctor, and you are carrying only personal use quantities, and it is just for your personal use....that's all you need.
If you bring in enough Ritalin for every housewife in the US then it will be pretty obvious you aren't bringing it in just for you. :D
Chances are pretty good that the person you have to discuss it with in the US customs will also have ADD and probably has their own bottle of Ritalin in their left pants pocket..... :p

duno if its relevant but when a friend and i travled about we had issues. I was off meds at the time and he is on insulin. Means viles of insulin, needles, etc. He had to pack a 24 hour suply in hand luggage and keep a writen (or verifyed copy, cant remember which) of his script on him at all times. The suply for the holiday had to be packed in with his other luggage and he only took anough for the holiday and some extra just in case. We never had any issues but occasionaly he would have to flash his script about.
