Hi, I started to take concerta again last week as I was totally unfocus at job following the holidays and a jet lag. However I now take 10mg of Lexapro every morning (since 1 month and half). After 5 days of concerta 27mg, I still cannot concentrate at all at job. Totally different from before the Lexapro. Today is week-end and I just took 18mg of concerta and I fell asleep middle of the day. Normally I cannot sleep at all with concerta.

I know that ritalin can boost SSRI effect somewhat, but this is quite something else.

Any ideas what's going on? I need to regain my focus power as I have deadlines lurking ahead.

thanks!

Maybe, with your doctor's permission of course, try taking the Lexapro before bed and then the Concerta in the morning.

That's a good idea. I am seeing the doctor in 2 days. I will talk about this.

thanks!

I take concerta with Prozac, and I notice it works better combined than if I just take my concerta.
