can you

make dinner with the TV on?

talk on your cell phone and walk at the same time?

play Solitaire (w/ sound turned off of course!) and talk on the phone?

prepare two different dishes (boil veggies, shred lettuce, etc.) at the same time?

Not me!

umm... hearing and brushing my teeth is a mechanical impossibility.
The noise of my electric toothbrush makes me deaf while I am brusing.

I can talk and write. (type, really) I can't talk and read my email tho...

I can hold a conversation while getting dressed... no problem.

I can talk on the phone while using a computer. I really don't like to because I hate telephones and I hate one-handed typing while holding the phone....I still do it a lot tho...

I can use two computers at the same time. Two keyboards, two mice, etc...I do it routinely. I drive about 300 computers remotely, at once, all the time. But I use software to do that... :p I work with parallel computing machines, so being a parallel thinker, makes it easy... I also write computer programs that do things in parallel.

I'll keep a bunch of windows goign on my computer , each with something different going on. If I get too many windows going , I start making mistakes....

I recently noticed that I use two vending machines at the same time at work.
I have discovered that I will do things like unlock the door of my apartment while reading my mail....or talk to someone while fixing my computer... the fun never stops...

I do a lot of other little multitasking things. I notice new ones all the time.

Walking and chewing gum... Now *THERE* is a major issue for me....

Me :D

Yes. I multi task all the time. However, the tasks that I am trying to juggle simultaneously don't get done as well as if I was only doing one thing at a time, and I really doubt I get them done in any faster than if I did them one at a time.

It is just that I get bored doing one, so I start another, like talking on the phone and answering email, or boiling noodles and flipping TV channels.

Can you talk online and on the phone at the same time about completely different things?

Can you write a paper and watch Law & Order: SVU at the same time? Do not even think about lying and saying "yes" because we'll all know you're lying!

Can you play the piano with both hands and sing at the same time?

Can you concentrate on the lyrics to a song and the harmony of differing instruments and syncopation at the same time?

Can you play guitar and talk/sing? (Fingerpicking, not strumming)

I can't. And yea, I know I'm a geek.

Brush your teeth and "hear" a question someone is asking you? Yea right

Chew gum, drive and talk ? I can't drive because I'm getting my pilot's license first and working all summer plus AcaDec, but I doubt I could do all that while flying...

write and talk at the same time ? Hahaha... no..

can you put on your socks and shoes and answer questions? I'd be surprised if I could exceed the putting on socks part... but, meh, maybe... never been asked questions while in the process of putting on shoes & socks

It depends on the task. Some things are not very fast if done in parallel. Other things are very fast if done in parallel.
:)

I can listen to two conversations at once, or read and listen..however I cant DO something and have a separate conversation at the same time

Write with two hands at the same time in opposite directions...

i cant pay attention if im sitting still, i have to jiggle my leg or play with sometime...

thats all I can think of right now...
