This might seem like a dumb question but I am going to ask it anyway-I am sick with a sinus infection. I have been home in bed for 2 days. Do I take my Adderall or do I not take it?

In my head I think I should not take it so that my body can rest and get over this but then I think maybe I am sleeping so much because I am not taking it!!?? Now I am just confused and not sure if I should be taking it or not.

It seems strange to me to take a stimulant when I am sick and need to get rest and get over it but maybe I am so used to Adderall that it isn't that bad?

When I'm sick, i do not take ADDerall. Sleep and rest helps you get better faster and when I take ADDerall, I cannot sleep or rest.

Well...if you're in bed with a sinus infection, not in need of true (cognitive) executive prowess, and you're not having "I'm going to crawl out of my skin" withdrawals (just the sleepy kind), then I guess I wouldn't take it. Especially since I just found out how much the XR costs ;)

Good luck with the sinus infection. I've had surgeries. My sinuses and I are old adversaries. I feel your pain, chica.:faint:
