*DISCLAIMER* This is for entertainment purposes only!
How to do the test:
1. Sit somewhere comfortable.
2. Close your eyes.
3. Slowly take a deep breath in.
4. Hold the breath for one second.
5. Slowly breath out.
6. Hold the breath for one second while counting 'one.'
7. Repeat steps 3 - 6 and add one to the count each time.
Remember that for each breath in and out you are only adding one to the count.
The idea of this test is to get to the highest number possible... You may experience many thoughts inbetween countings. These thoughts are perfectly okay. Just listen to them as if you are listening to someone else talking and let them pass.
You will be done when you have the slightest doubt in your mind of the number coming next.
What's number did you make it to?
Don't be surprised if the number is not as high as you thought it might be! ;)

I had to read it 3 times to remember all the steps.
I counted up to 8 but by 6 I was starting to get confused if I was on 6 or 7.
But the whole time I was counting I was thinking about other things as well.
At 8 I just felt like I had enough of that. And wanted to stop.
I'll give it a try another day and see how it goes.:)

haha I know what you mean...I kept the steps open and read them over and over..and even had to look back. You'd think those would be so easy to remember...
Yeah that test is hard for ADDers..I mean, even if you can count that high, can you sit there that long?

LOL wheresmykeys thanks I feel better now.
I showed this to my friend who has AD/HD like me.
He said the hard part was remembering the procedure.
And he stopped at 6 too.
That reminds me of an online concentration test. It is the concentration test for men and I have yet to pass.

I looked at the directions (well, jumped from the first paragraph to the last and then skimmed the middle) and knew I'd hate doing it too much to even try it.
Does that count as a Zero?
I made it to 18. On about the last five though, it felt like my exhale was blowing the number away and I had to scramble around to try and find it, until finally.....I found two numbers, 18 and 19. But I only remembered 17 clearly. So maybe I only made it to 17. Yes. I think I was coming up on 18 and it was joined by 19. Or maybe, I was coming up to 17, counted 17, blew it away, and then 18 and 19 started battling for the slot. So maybe I only made it to 16, for sure.

I actually could NOT get past the step "close your eyes."
I kept opening them to read what steps 3 - 6 were.... I think I might have ADD, Inattentive Type!
