i really wanted to be hypnotized but i couldn't i also have add. could there be a correlation? has anyone with ADD been hypnotized when without meds?

I find its more frusterating than relaxing just because I have so many unwanted thoughts going through my head. I would like to try being hypnotised, but I doubt it would work. If our thoughts could stand still and allow to be relaxed I wonder if it would help with things like organization? I've never been hypnotized. It's not cheap, if I remember correctly what a co-worker said about it. So I guess if you do enough research, think its for you, have a goal in mind (a tangible one) then it can't hurt. Now all she does is count 1.2.3.4.5.6.7.8.9.10.10.9.8.7.6.5.4.3.2.1.wake up Evelyn. No conversation, nothing when you ask her if she's hungry she starts counting, are you in pain? she starts counting. FordGal 05-25-05, 10:15 AM Ive been hypnotised in a show ... didnt think they would be able to do it ... but they did ...... luckily no after affects though ;) Nucking_Futs 05-25-05, 12:32 PM No, but when her family moved her into the nursing home we noticed right away that she was having an allergic reaction to her lasix and that it wasn't an OCD type behaviour. Put her on Demedex instead of Lasix and the itching and compulsive scratching stopped.
