In some ways (certainly not all) Autistic Spectrum Disorder faintly resembles some of the characteristics as seen in Schizophrenia: Presenting Symptoms Predominately Negative.

Or a condition called "Simple Schizophrenia"

Below is a scholarly article regarding Simple Schizophrenia:

I know that ASD is in no way schizophrenia, and I am not arguing that

What I would like to receive comments about concerns the similarities
between what is called:

The Negative Symptoms of Schizophrenia and ASD.

I am simply interested in this, and would like to know what others think.

I moderate a Facebook Group dedicated to ASD awareness:

Thanks

When I first learnt about this term in my quest for autodiagnosis, I got the imprerssion that "simple schizophrenia" was devised in a wicked mind of a soviet bureaucrat :)

Later I thought it was inattentive adhd+clinical depression.

Now I have no time to rethink it :)
