I am desperately trying to find a great psychiatrist specializing in anxiety and ADD for my 18 year old son. We live in a small town but are willing to travel to any of the three mentioned locations, or anywhere else if the specialist is amazing. Please help.

Awesome. Thanks. I saw him on a totally ADD video. Hopefully my son isn't too old to see him. Fingers crossed.

There are others in the link, not sure any of them will do, however, I would call caddac near you and find out, they generally have very good recommendations of current docs.

I know this post is almost a year old, but I figured better late than never...

It's not quite Toronto, but I'm currently seeing a psychiatrist in Burlington that specializes in Adults with ADHD. His name is Dr. Noel Amaladoss. I had to get a referral from my family Doctor (who knew who he was, I took that as a good sign). There was a wait due to high demand, but he has helped me a lot. Calling frequently to check for cancellations is a good way to shorten the wait time. I think they just got tired of me pestering them weekly and finally cut me ahead of the line. :D

Most Psychiatrists don't just hand out meds or accept a claim that someone has ADHD. Try to get testing from a Psychologist so you can get documentation for your son. Psycho-educational or Neuropsychological testing. Too bad you don't list your location.
