...Hi all, hope everyone had a fabulous holiday season ......What with helping Janet care for her much beloved kitty Barney, who has cancer, and the prognosis is bad, Janet is doing everything she can to help him live the longest he can without a lot of pain.....so our household revolves around that .....

...So I got the Farm's tree up about a week and a half before Christmas ....I must use the bright red and white tatted ornaments that the family's mom made over the years ...and the white tatted starched snowflakes too ....

....Janet's house tree I didn't get up until ...hmm about the first week of January ....so I have dubbed it the New Year's Tree ! ....we do love looking at our tree so when it goes up and comes down tends to be a bit outside the norm ....( to say the least .) this year we downgraded to a smaller tree so we could just put it on the table that usually lives in the corner and save the hassle of moving that table .....

....These are both real trees, the Farm tree especially looks like a fake one as it is so perfect in it's form .....

so first up is the Farm tree......

close up, OH and I did find some of the earliest clear ornaments I made ...about 8 years ago, they are filled with weed flowers I found in the back 10 acres of the farm, then spray painted them ...I thought they worked well with the tatted ornaments .. and I took apart a bunch of pointsettia silk plants ...and stuck the flowers around and about

and now...the house tree......( notice that little train engine under the tree....it's a tin that was filled with candy ( awful stuff) ..and the wheels actually spin )
