Q1: I asked the pharmacist for Amedra Dexedrine and they said that that wasn't a generic drug but a brand drug. is that true? I thought Amedra was generic. Is Amedra dexedrine brand or generic?

Q2: Is there any relation in some way/shape/form between Amedra and CorePharma?

Q3: I've been looking for pharmacies that carry CorePharma but can't find any. Does CorePharma still manufacture dexedrine? If so, does it go by a different name?

THANK YOU!!!!

1. Amedra is brand-name Dexedrine.

2. Impax Labs bought both Amedra and CorePharma.

3. CorePharma manufactured a generic form of Dextrostat, an IR dextroamphetamine sulfate. Dextrostat was a Shire brand. Dexedrine was both an IR and CR med, depending on the brand holder and the year. So...kinda.
