Is it possible to have brain scans to indicate adhd in a diagnosis process.

(To make a long story short)

My ten years old daughter are at the very beginning of adhd testing. (A long process as i have been told)

Due to a car accident she was CT scanned.

Is it possible to see signs of adhd in those such images.

Not sure about a CT scan, but there is a thing called a SPECT scan that will allow doctors to see the areas of the brain that are not recieving proper bloodflow and thus are not functioning to par.

Dr. Daniel Amen and others do extensive work with SPECT scans:

The website has an area where you can see actual scans of brains that are afflicted with many types of ADD, ADHD, and other brain disorders, including depression, OCD, and anxiety problems.
