Hi, I'm currently taking adderall 30mg XR and i was just wondering if any of you know what is the maximum dose in canada?

I was also wondering if you could be prescribed 30XR + 10XR as a booster sort of? I have heard from places that you can and from other places that you cant.

30 mg of Adderall is the largest Adderall pill in Canada, but I don't think anything prevents a doctor from prescribing more than one pill.

I could easily be wrong.

According to CADDRA (The Canadian ADHD Resource Alliance), the maximum daily dosage of Adderall XR is 50mg. https://www.caddra.ca/. Adderall XR doesn't go above 30mg in a single pill (as mentioned above).

They have lots of resources on their website, but here is a link to their quick-reference chart for medication: https://www.caddra.ca/pdfs/Medication_Chart_English_CANADA.pdf

I am not certain if 50mg is the max single dose of Adderall XR, or the max daily total dose (the difference being someone who takes 2-3 Adderall XR's at intervals throughout the day).

Thanks so much for your info and quick replies, Im very happy i found this forum!

So 50mg does seem to be the maximum from what it says on the pdf you have linked but i'm still not 100% sure if people can be prescribed more than one XR pill a day (like 30mg + 10mg booster for example)
I'm not sure where to find that info, but i guess i can contact CAARRA because it doesnt look like thats mentioned on their site or on the pdf.
