Strattera can cause quite a few different side effects in certain people.
Everyone is different and reacts differently to all meds.
Hopefully something new will emerge that has greater benefits for all of us.
I just recently began working in the pharmaceutical industry as a
computer systems engineer. I was shocked at what goes on in thier
decision making thought processes. It all about money... simple as that.
Drug developement takes big bucks and multiple years of manpower.
A drug like Straterra or Neurontin can bring in billions over the course
of it's market dominance.

You mean it's all about if they have the money to work on a new medicine???
Some of the Pharmesictical companies are working on more non-stimulants medication to treat adult ADD. I'm not sure how far they are in the clinical trials though.

Of course it is about the money, this is the United States. There is always alot of pre-marketing hype, but if a medication is not safe or efficacious enough to stand the test of post-marketing experience, it will not gain acceptance and will loose market share.

well it's high time that it wasn't about the money for
we all want something that is 101% safe with no side effects,
trust me not all medicines have side effects.
For instance a great scientist would make sure
there is no side effects. Like the side effects I heard Strattera has
I'm not taking it.
